The swedish heavy metal trio GRAND MAGUS team up with the latest Nuclear Blast signing, the ultimate metal maiacs of ENFORCER, to tour along with NWoNHM legend ANGEL WITCH.
”Hellfire! 2013 starts with metal on metal. Can you take this? We will bring our latest album THE HUNT on the road and conquer Europe. Germany, Austria, Italy, Switzerland and Holland – be prepared for some mighty headbanging tunes and sweaty riffs. Enforcer announce release date for DEATH BY FIRE
We can now proudly announce the release of our third full-length album, entitled DEATH BY FIRE, out February 1st 2013 on Nuclear Blast Records.
2012-11-29 01:00 – The swedish Heavy Metal bloodbrothers of ENFORCER recently signed a new worldwide record deal with Nuclear Blast Records. Their new album is called „Death By Fire“ and will be released on February, 1st.
Bandleader, vocalist and guitar player Olof Wikstrand comments: „It feels great to finally have finished this long awaited third ENFORCER record. Now with Nuclear Blast on board we’re gonna make sure to spread it to every corner of this planet. You can expect nothing but the total, self defining ENFORCER record.“
Nuclear Blast head of A&R, Andy Siry says: „ We’ve been following the career of ENFORCER since their debut album, because from there on, they formed the spearhead of a new, young generation of traditionally influenced metal. We’re impressed by the bands consequent and authentic appearance, whether on stage, concerning their sound, their image and so on. This reminds of the atmosphere of departure and the rebellion, heavy metal represented at the beginning of the 80’s. ENFORCER have got that special something, represent their ideals and they know what they want. We’re looking forward to the upcoming CD and a long successful cooperation.”

We have for a period of the last few months been working harder, yet more silently, than ever before. We are as in late 2011 finally getting to see the picture of a new album that we have been working on very deliberately for the last two years. Without saying too much, the material we have in front of us takes the sound of Enforcer back to the rawness and uniformity we created with the early demos and first album. We have ten totally uncompromising, but yet diversed tracks ready that will stand out and pinpoit the typical Enforcer sound.
From now we don’t intend to do more shows, other than a few well chosen ones, before we are back with a brand new studio album scheduled for the second part of 2012.
We would also like to take the opportunity to thank all you who came out to see us on the ‘Diamonds on the Road Tour 2010-2011′.
